The apartment uses a multi-key system:

Street Door & Courtyard Gates: Use the street door key (same key operates the two gates in the courtyard).

Front Door & Elevator: Use the other same key to operate the apartment front door and the elevator door access.

🔢 Courtyard Gate Code

• Going OUT of the courtyard: Use code 4589 on the keypad.

• Entering the courtyard: The key is required for entry.

📭 Mailbox Location

The mailboxes are situated at the street entrance of Norgesgade 19 (where the stairs are located). The label is marked Vogel Pereira.

🍳 Kitchen & Cooking Guidelines

⚠️ CAUTION: BOILING WATER TAP
The kitchen is equipped with a specialized boiling water tap. It provides up to 3L of boiling water instantly.

How to use safely: Push down and turn the knob, wait 3 seconds, then carefully fill your container.

🥫 Pantry & Basics

Pantry basics (pasta, flour, rice, spices, oils) are located in the left-hand drawer blocks. Feel free to use them during your stay, but please replace what you have used before checking out.

☕ Coffee, Tea & Microwave

• The microwave and tea/teapot are in the tall cupboard on the left.

• A coffee bean grinder and tea supplies are located in the cupboard directly above the microwave.

🍽️ Cutlery, Pots, & Dishwasher

Pots & Pans: Stored underneath the induction stove, next to the oven.

Knives & Utensils: In the wooden top drawer under the stove.

Cutlery, Bowls, Glasses & Plates: In the sliding drawers on the right-hand counter block.

Dishwasher: Right-hand counter block. Dishwasher soap tablets are located under the sink.

🌡️ Radiators & District Heating

The apartment is fully heated by district heating. All rooms are equipped with individual radiator handles:

* = Off (shuts off hot water flow)

1 = ~10°C to 13°C

2 = ~15°C to 17°C

3 = ~20°C (Comfortable room temperature for living areas)

4 = ~23°C to 25°C

5 = ~26°C to 30°C

💡 Smart Light Controls

Dinner Table Hanging Light: This is a touchless smart light! Hold your hand directly under or over the end of the bar to switch it on or off. Hold your hand there longer to adjust the light intensity.

Living Room Ceiling Spots: Switch them on using the main wall switch in the hallway next to the bathroom. You can adjust the light warmth and brightness settings using the dedicated white remote control on the shelf.

🔇 Quiet Hours & Rules

• Please refrain from playing loud music or making heavy noise after 21:00.

• The wooden floors are premium and do not tolerate standing wetness. In case of water spills, please dry them off immediately.

🧺 Bathroom, Shower & Washer

🚿 CRITICAL SHOWER CARE
Copenhagen water has a very high calcium content. To prevent staining and damage, always wipe the shower screen and tiles with the squeegee immediately after showering.

🚿 Shower Controls

Left Dial: Turn the handle to adjust the temperature. Flip the dial outward to turn on the water.

Right Dial: Turn UP to active the upper rainfall shower head, and turn DOWN to activate the handheld shower head.

🧼 Toilet Paper & Towels

• Extra toilet paper is located in the drawers next to the toilet. *Please refill and buy a replacement roll at the Netto if you use the last of them.*

🧺 Dryer & Washing Machine

Washing Machine: Fill in detergent (located in bathroom drawers). Choose your washing cycle via the dial and touch screen, and press Start. Once finished, acknowledge the end on the touch screen and turn the dial to 'Off' to stop the beeping alarm.

Dryer: Turn the dial to choose your drying cycle ("Skabstørt" is recommended for fully cupboard-dry). Empty the water collection tray and remove lint/fluff from the inside filter trap after every cycle.

Please sort your waste carefully as per Danish regulations:

Under the Kitchen Sink:

  - Black bag = General/Residual waste.

  - Green bucket = All organic/Bio waste (use green bags provided under the sink).

Steel Dual-Bin Unit (with stickers):

  - Top metal compartment = Glass and metal waste.

  - Bottom sliding drawer = Plastic waste.

Hallway Cupboard (elevator entrance): Paper and Cardboard waste is collected here.

🌳 Courtyard Disposal Bins

Take waste down to the courtyard bins using your gate key. Bins are clearly labeled for General Waste, Bio Waste, Plastic, Metal, Paper, and Cardboard.

🔑 CHECKOUT CHECKLIST & CLEANING PREPARATION
When departing on Saturday morning, please perform the following steps to prepare for the cleaning crew:

1. Leave all bed linen on the bed and dirty towels on the bathroom floor.

2. Locate the cleaning bucket (in the cupboard next to the elevator entrance) and place it next to the wine cupboard, containing the cleaning cloths.

3. Take the cleaning fluid tray from the top of the dryer in the bathroom and place it next to the bucket.

4. Double check that both locks on the apartment doors are locked.

5. Place the keys in the mailbox marked Vogel Pereira (street entrance staircase of Norgesgade 19).
